Hi, I’m Grahame Gallacher and I created Past the Pixels. I’m a journalism graduate and currently a reporter for the Greenock Telegraph newspaper in Scotland, but my real passions are games, comics and anime.

After graduating university with a 2:1 Hons Degree in journalism, I took the opportunity to further learn my craft in a daily newspaper environment. I’ve taken all the skills learned both on the job and at university and put them to use in my free time on Past the Pixels.

Past the Pixels has been going since university. Originally started to satisfy course demands, I found myself enjoying writing for my own blog more and more. It has grown from covering purely games to anime and comics – But games will always been the main focus. I concentrate on providing original feature material and select news stories that focus on the Scottish and wider UK games industry. And I’m very open to working with you should you have a proposition.
